Secure Transaction Guarantee:  Protecting your identity, sensitive information, and credit card data is a high priority for our company.  We recognize the inconveniences caused by a stolen identity or unauthorized use of your banking information to make illegal purchases. To ensure your privacy is protected and your banking information remains confidential, our website integrates advanced SSL encryption, a multi layered buyer authentication program, address verification filters, billing / shipping address mismatch filters, IP address velocity filters, bank identification number protection filters, managed firewall services, managed intrusion detection services, and managed virtual private network services, to name but a few of our security measures. Exact filters used may vary from website to website.

Payment Terms:  All orders must be prepaid in US dollars and all payments must be made payable to: American Innovations, Inc. Domestic orders may pay using credit card, check card, postal money order, bank wire transfer, Western Union, or PayPal. All International orders must be prepaid via bank wire transfer, Western Union, or PayPal. All PayPal transactions require the user to have a registered account with PayPal and a verified address with PayPal.

Purchase Orders Accepted from: US Government Agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies, and Educational Institutions.  Corporations may open accounts after a purchasing history has been established and a background check has been conducted by our accounting department. 

Credit Card Orders (United States Transactions Only): Credit cards are not accepted for payment on all merchandise. If your purchase is not eligible for payment via credit card, you will be notified by our customer service department. All credit card transactions must be shipped to the billing address or an authorized address on file with the card issuer. No credit cards are accepted for international orders. No exceptions!

New York Sales Tax:  Any order shipped within the State of New York is subject to NY sales tax unless purchased for resale or as a tax exempt transaction. American Innovations, Inc. must have on file a valid New York State resale certificate or tax exemption form in order to qualify for exemption status. Resale and tax exempt customers must provide the required documentation prior to placing their order. New York sales tax will not be refunded after an order has been processed.  

International Orders: International customers may place their orders online and select their preferred method of payment, excluding the option for credit cards.  Upon receipt of an international order, customers will be sent an order total (including freight charges) along with payment instructions for their desired method of payment.

American Innovations, Inc. is not responsible for any custom’s duties, import restrictions, tariffs, or any other exporting fee or restriction associated with the item or items being purchased.

Buyers are responsible for verifying the legality of the products they will be importing as well as ensuring there will be a recipient to accept the package when delivered.  In the event a package is returned, storage fees, extra transportation costs, and other charges may apply.

Order Delivery Turnaround:  All orders are processed within one business day.  All in stock items generally ship within one business day after your order has been processed.  Weekends and holidays do not count as business days. In the event an item is on backorder, you will be notified by our customer service department to discuss your options. Please feel free to call or e-mail us to find availability of any item prior to placing your order.

Shipping:  Unless negotiated differently, all orders are shipped FOB Origin.  Most shipments are released from Spring Valley, New York.  Our primary carrier is FedEx and our secondary carriers are DHL and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders being shipped to a P.O. Box, FPO, or APO address are mailed through the USPS, while all others are shipped via FedEx or DHL. Shipments to US territories must be made via Air and may incur additional charges.

Customer is responsible for all original shipping charges and return shipping charges in the event the recipient refuses a package delivery or the address provided for shipping is incorrect and the carrier returns the package to sender as undeliverable. If the carrier makes the maximum number of attempts and is unable to deliver a package and therefore the package is returned to sender, customer will also be responsible for all original shipping charges and return shipping charges.

Customer will also be responsible for all original and return shipping charges if the order qualified for free shipping and the recipient refuses the package or an incorrect address was provided, or the maximum delivery attempts are made and the package was returned to sender as undeliverable.

Shipping charges are those incurred to ship you the order and return shipping charges are shipping charges assessed by the carrier to return the package to sender.

In the event that a package is refused because there is evident damage to the shipment by the carrier during shipping, you will not be responsible for any additional shipping charges. You must however note the damage with the carrier, keep a copy of the documentation were the carrier noted the damage, and contact us immediately regarding the damage. If a shipment shows signs of damage, customer must open the box and inspect the merchandise for evident damage. If evident damage to the goods is present reseal box and refuse at the time of delivery. If no evident damage appears on merchandise, note with the carrier the damaged condition of the box and packaging, if possible document with pictures, keep a copy of your reports and have the carrier acknowledge it in writing; accept the shipment and notify us of the packaging condition. Test products immediately to ensure functionality, report any issues right away.

Note: Lock picking tools cannot be shipped via USPS. Should the buyer select USPS as the shipping method on any lock picking order, or any order containing lock picking tools; the closest available suitable shipping method will be automatically used to ship the ordered merchandise. No credits for shipping will be issued when a shipping method is changed under these circumstances. 

Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments:  American Innovations, Inc. is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments once they have been picked up by the carrier. All items are insured for the full value of purchase. All shipments are FOB origin. The risk of loss is transferred upon carrier pick up. 

Return Policy & Defective Merchandise:  We stand behind what we sell. All our products are carefully pre-selected by trained & experienced security professionals. Due to the nature of our products most items may be used once and no longer needed, therefore all sales are final.  Certain items are not eligible for refund under any circumstances such items include but are not limited to: GPS equipment, including accessories and services, privacy protection products, Elmo and Toshiba cameras and accessories including other third party accessories used with Toshiba and Elmo cameras, lock picking tools, books, videos, all services, special order items, and custom made items.

No merchandise will be accepted for return without first obtaining a return authorization number (RA #). You may obtain an RA within 7 days of delivery of an order or within warranty terms. Please call, fax, or e-mail your request. No packages will be accepted without a valid RA number. We suggest that you insure your package and use a carrier that has tracking capabilities.

Packages returned without a valid RA will be refused and sent back to the sender. American Innovations will not be responsible for unclaimed or abandoned packages. All repaired or replaced items will be shipped back via ground (to USA destinations only). Expedited shipping methods are available for a fee. Return shipments with international destinations are not prepaid by American Innovations and such freight is the responsibility of the buyer.

All merchandise accepted for return must be in its original packaging, accompanied by an original sales receipt, in good condition, and must be received by American Innovations, Inc. within 7 business days upon issuance of an RA. All returns are subject to a restocking charge of 25% of the original invoice. Missing or altered items may result in additional fees. Shipping, handling, and insurance charges are not refundable. Failure to abide by RA instructions may result in the refusal of your return or additional charges to your account.

If an item received is damaged or defective the customer must bring it to our attention within 7 business days the nature of the problem. All defective returns will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of American Innovations, Inc. If a customer will not accept a replacement a 25% restocking fee will be imposed.

Cancellation Policy:  All items ordered online will be processed within one business day. Orders cancelled after they are processed will be subject to a 15% service charge. A 25% restocking fee will be imposed on any order cancelled after it has been processed and shipped. Custom designed, custom built merchandise, and special ordered products are not subject to cancellation.  Shipping, handling, and insurance charges are not refundable.

GPS Services: Reasonable technical support will be provided free of charge. GPS tracking units may not be available to ship immediately after receipt of order. Normal shipping lead time is 5-10 business days.

All GPS services are for a minimum of one (1) year. GPS Service contracts are not subject to cancellation once they have been issued or renewed. Orders for GPS services are not cancellable and twelve month contract is in effect as of the time of order.

At all times GPS service account must have a minimum of 250 locates. Customer is required to ensure minimum locate balance. Should minimum locate balance fall below 250 locates, American Innovations, Inc will contact customer through any means available, should customer fail to respond within 10 days after notification has been made, customer agrees and authorizes American Innovations, Inc to charge any credit card on file the amount necessary to bring GPS service account up to date, so that it reflects the minimum locate balance required.

Failure to maintain positive locate balance on GPS account may result in GPS service account being temporarily blocked or permanently disabled. Should a GPS service account be permanently blocked customer must pay related fees to reactivation.

A notice will be sent to GPS service account holder when their GPS service is about to expire. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain their contact information up to date. Failure to effect contract renewal may result in cancellation of customer’s GPS service account unless customer has agreed to automatic renewal, in which case related fees will be charged to the credit card on file. Should an account be permanently suspended or otherwise cancelled, remaining locates will be forfeited. GPS service account and locates are not transferable.

In no event will American Innovations, Inc be liable to customer, its assignees, successors, or any third parties for any losses, liabilities or damages, including but not limited to lost profits or legal costs. Customer uses the software provided by American Innovations, Inc at its own risk. Customer, its assignees, successors, and any third parties agree to hold American Innovations, Inc, its personnel, and partners, harmless against any claims pertaining to such losses, liabilities, or damages.

Performance of the GPS receiver is affected by weather and many types of materials including: concrete, metal, earth and vegetation cover. In no event will American Innovations, Inc be liable to customer, its assignees, successors, or any third parties for any event during which a GPS receiver fails to obtain a reliable signal.

Software and equipment is subject to performance of third parties. Access to GPS service account may be temporarily disrupted. GPS receiver unit is subject to GSM network failures and delays. American Innovations, Inc will not be responsible for temporary service interruptions caused by such third party performance failures.

If the buyer is purchasing on behalf of a company by agreeing to these terms and conditions the buyer states that he or she is an authorized agent of that company and in capacity to enter into contracts on that company's behalf. American Innovations, Inc. assumes no liability associated with product usage. Every buyer is responsible for complying with any applicable law.

American Innovations will not be liable for any misspellings or non-updated data that may appear on our websites. We reserve the right to change prices and terms & conditions at any time. Once changes have been made the latest version of the contract will be enforced. We reserve the right to accept orders or decline them. We will not be responsible for delays of common carriers; we will not be responsible for undeliverable items.

All customer information is kept confidential. See our privacy policy for detailed information about collection and use of information. If you require disclosure to any 3rd party you must advise of such authorization in writing. All fraudulent orders will be forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency to investigate.

By finalizing your order you agree to our terms and conditions and accept all clauses of the same. These terms and conditions are legally binding for all parties involved. In the event that any clause is deemed unenforceable all other remaining clauses will still be in effect. It is the buyer's responsibility to make inquiries if any or all parts of this agreement are not understood. American Innovations reserves all rights for any terms not included or covered in this agreement.
