Is this camera plug and play? Do you need Wi-Fi to set up this camera? Does the fan have to be on for the camera to work? Is there a battery that can supply power instead of plugging into wall socket? Is there an option to run continuously or can run on motion detection? How long can you record continuously onto SD card? If a battery how long does it last? Is there a remote control to operate fan/camera?

Thanks for reaching out! The fan camera requires light begining set up in order to set recording preferences and other operational settings. You do not need wifi for the camera to work. The fan does NOT need to be on for the camera to work. It works independently. This item does not support battery operation. You must plug it to an outlet for power. You can select motion or continous recording from the set up. You can record up to 64 hours on the included 32GB. The fan does include a remote control.
