Thank you for reaching out. This walkie talkie headset is designed to work with your cellphone. You place a call to listen and talk with another party. The ear piece is inserted into your ear and the loop acessory is worn under clothing and plugs in to the headphone (3.5mm) connection of your cellphone. The ear piece and the loop are wireless from each other. They use induction technology to communicate. Since you are using your phone to communicate out, the other person doesn't need a second invisible microphone piece or anything else other than their cellphone; unless they also want to be stealth with their calls too!
