Thanks for reaching out! This button camera does not support recording while charging. The unit must either be off and charging or on and recording.

Thanks for asking this question! Unfortunately this camera does not support record while charging, therefore there is no way to increase the recording time. Furthermore, the internal memory and battery are a pretty good match, so even if there was a way to record while charging your memory would not allow for additional time. We do have other cameras that support record while charging.
