If you plugged into a USB charger - would you not have to worry about batteries?

You are right! when plugged in to a USB charger or other powered USB source you can run the recording for as long as you have memory space. If you choose to use 128GB memory card you can record up to 96 hours of actual recording time!
Does the back of this camera have a clip so you can wear it or clip it onto a pack, etc...?
