I am looking for a self contained camera...no wifi signal. Does this fit the bill? Also can it evade infrared detection?
Great questions! This camera DOES fit the bill for NO wifi signal. You will be off the grid with these eyeglasses hidden camera. It does not have night vision, so IR detection will not be problem!
Can it be used as live video, to a cell phone?
Hello there! Thanks for asking this question. This body worn camera does NOT have broadcasting capabilities. You can find this feature on our wifi button camera and other similar wifi cameras.
Are these detectable? Are there any chances a detective with a magnifying glass analyzing my outward appearance with these on would notice I'm recording them? I need to know these aren't virtually undetectable, but completely undetectable while being worn.
There is no camera that a seasoned professional cannot eventually detect. Having said that, this camera glasses have a camera design that is truly discrete. There is no camera hole that is visible and the custom made frame cleverly conceals the camera and components. Once the glasses are worn the single operation button is concealed so anyone looking directly at you while wearing them would not be able to tell you have a camera on you.
Can I put prescription glasses on this?
We do not recommend having the glasses outfitted with prescription. The process requires bending of the frame which will void the warranty. Instead we recommend using contact lenses if you need vision correction.
